Looking back a UC 269 we remember a shocked crowd as Amanda Nunes was a part of the biggest upset in UFC history and lost her title breaking her 12-win streak record.

It’s no wonder why the fans would love to see a rematch between these two titans of the sport. The question is will Peña able to repeat history and Shock the UFC world by taking down Amanda Nunez who is fueled by the loss of her last fight which was controversially her worst fight ever In their first fight, Amanda Nunes was looped into a fistfight in found herself in an out brawl against Peña.

Co-Main Card

On the Co-main The flyweight division is going to see Brandon Moreno fight Kai Kara-France. Brandon Moreno is 19-6 and is a skilled black belt with 3 KOs and 11 submissions. Kai Kara-France has 11 KOs and 3 submissions. This is the second time these fighters will be seeing each other in the ring and we can only guess what to expect. Brandon has become a very skilled fighter since entering the UFC and has increased his striking game as he was known for his grappling skills and capabilities. Kai Will have to be a tactical fighter to secure the victory.

Using Well placed leg kicks and well-timed submission holds Kai will be able to secure the Victory. Moreno is a very talented fighter and by no means will this be an easy fight as both fighters are skilled at countering and mixing up their counters. Brendon has become a very talented grappler and this will be key in his fight against Kai if he will be able to use his grappling skills to take advantage.

It might be argued that Kara-France performs far better versus opponents who are attempting to grapple him at this point in his career. Because of this, I’m interested to see how much Moreno puts into his grappling.

Prediction

On paper, Moreno is the better submission artist because, should grappling be his prerogative, I could certainly see Moreno winning one or two rounds off of ground control. I think that Moreno’s length, counters, and shot selection should keep him ahead on the cards if he is unable to snag an opportunistic submission before the final round unless Kara-France can find a way to pull off another bizarre performance from Moreno and outperform him down the stretch.
